Zigong Chaofan Carbon Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chaofan Carbon Materials) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zigong Dongxin Electric Carbon Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dongxin Electric Carbon). Established in 2022, it is a comprehensive enterprise focused on the research,development, and production, of carbon and graphite products.
The mother company of Chaofan Carbon Materials, Dongxin Electric Carbon, originated from the "Zigong Dongxin Electric Carbon Plant," which was approved for construction by the former National First Ministry of Machine Industry in 1965. It is a key enterprise in the “third-line construction” that provides supporting products for the production of various conventional weapons in China. Its main products include high-purity graphite, carbon for mechanical use, special carbon, and more, covering four major series with over one hundred product varieties. These products are primarily applied in important fields such as aerospace, shipbuilding, basic electromechanical engineering, rail transportation, and wind power generation.
In recent years, with the rapid development of industries such as photovoltaics, semiconductors, and new energy in China, the demand for isostatic graphite materials, especially mid-to-high-end products, has been growing rapidly. Dongxin Electric Carbon, leveraging its decades of rich technology and industrial advantages in the field of carbon and graphite materials, has formulated a development strategy and invested in the establishment of the Chaofan Carbon Materials project.
Chaofan Carbon Materials is located in the Zigong South Sichuan New Materials Chemical Industry Park, covering an area of 75.24 acres.
