Almost anything routinely done in the veterinary clinic exam room can be accomplished during a home visit. With us, you’re removing the stress of car rides, long waits in the exam room, and other animal encounters. In-home visits can also be more convenient for busy human parents!
During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Dr. Liz McCalley worked at various veterinary clinics that were all performing curbside service. This did not allow for pet parents to be present with their pets during their veterinary care. While this was fine for very outgoing dogs, she noticed that timid dogs and most cats were showing more signs of fear, anxiety and stress while in the clinics.
Having just completed her Fear Free certification, Dr. McCalley wanted to provide owners with an alternative and began working on her vision for ZumiVet. ZumiVet is a veterinary service that allows cats and dogs to be examined in the comfort of their own homes with their pet parents by their sides.
