ÁGORA Uruguay Overview
El Programa Ágora es un proyecto regional de captación, capacitación e intermediación laboral destinado a la población con discapacidad visual de todo el país. Financiado por FOAL (Fundación ONCE para América Latina) en convenio con el MTSS (Ministerio de Trabajo y Seguridad Social) a través de la DINAE (Dirección Nacional de Empleo) es ejecutado localmente por UNCU (Unión Nacional de Ciegos del Uruguay). Desde el año 2006 a la fecha se han realizado más de dos mil capacitaciones en distintas áreas tomando en cuenta la realidad del mercado laboral, logrando así cientos de inserciones efectivas tanto en el ámbito público como privado.
