中英创新产业园是由商务部批准的首个中英两国政府间合作产业园区。2017年11月，中英创新产业园正式启动，负责园区开发及运营管理。
中英创新产业园总规划面积15.1平方公里，重点引进健康医疗、技术转移应用、高端制造、创意设计、文化旅游等服务贸易创新项目，为企业提供一系列服务，推动企业间务实交流，帮助其尽快落地。
搭建对英地方经贸合作的国际化示范平台，加强与英国地方城市的经贸合作，促进中英地方经贸合作持续健康发展。
Witnessed by leaders of both countries, China's Ministry of Commerce and Britain's Department for Business, Innovation and Skills signed an MOU to strengthen regional cooperations of trade and investment between China and UK.
On May 26th 2017, China’s Commerce Ministry replied to Qingdao Municipal Government,
proposing Qingdao strengthen economic and trade cooperation with regional governments of UK by making full use of favourable factors, to promote the d evelopment of China-Britain Innovation Industry Park in Qingdao International Economic Coop eration Zone.
