Founded in 1983, Chengdu Institute of Planning and Design （CDIPD） was added to the Chengdu Tianfu Park Urban Research Institute in 2019, and is one of the first Grade A urban and rural planning and design institutes in China and a national high-tech enterprise. It is now qualified with Grade A urban and rural planning, Grade A engineering consulting, Grade B land planning and Grade B tourism planning and design, and passed the certification of ISO9001 quality management system in 2005. Over the past 30 years since its establishment, the institute has always adhered to the core concept of "pragmatic innovation and people-oriented", and adhered to the organizational mission of "serving the society, planning for the future, and making urban and rural areas better", and completed tens of thousands of various types of planning compilation and research projects, which have laid a solid foundation for the scientific development of the city.
