永达理于2011年5月经原中国保险监督管理委员会批准成立，是一家全国性、综合性保险经纪公司。2014年台湾永达保经参股投资永达理，投资股权比例24.9%。2016年公司注册资本额为8,000万元，2018年代表保险行业首次获得由中国管理科学学会授予的管理科学创新奖。2019年在首届“今日•保险中介榜”评选中，获评为年度值得信赖保险中介。同年在第十四届中国保险创新大奖评选活动中，荣获年度最佳中介保险品牌奖。
永达理总部设在北京，目前已在北京、深圳、上海、浙江、江苏、广东、苏州、天津、宁波、山东、青岛、四川、湖北、福建、河南、黑龙江、河北设立17家分公司。截至目前，2019年分公司及营业部共计有49个营业网点，业务范围覆盖华北、华中、华东、华南、西南、东北区域，业务发展根基深厚、客户服务基础扎实。
2019年是永达理成立第8年，新契约保费达23.9亿元，业绩同比增长60%，人均FYP达36.8万元，为同业的5倍多，业务主管人力6,483人，人力结构高素质人才占比高，其中本科学历人员占比为41%，硕士及以上学历人员占比为4%。此外，永达理打造的保险企业家创业平台，吸引了：海归的博士、大学现职教授、律师、会计师、企业主、企业高管等高素质人才的加入。2019年达成“永达理百万会员”人数1366人，目前永达理在职人数中累计达成“永达理百万会员”资格的人力超过2356人，平均每2.8位主管就有一位是“永达理百万会员”。
