Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) at Tsinghua University is a global R&D center focusing on applied research and innovation for the new wave of the fourth industrial revolution (4IR), including autonomous driving, biological computing, machine learning, and advanced robotics.
AIR was founded by Dr. Ya-Qin Zhang, a world-renowned scientist and business executive, as an open research hub for global industrial transformation and social advancement, in close collaboration with leading academic institutions and companies around the world. AI + Transportation, AI + IoT and AI + Healthcare are three research priorities of AIR.
