Chongqing Jinkang New Energy Automobile Co.,Ltd, founded in 2012, is a wholly owned subsidiary of SOKON Group and the 8th one to obtain the new energy license of MIIT in China.

In Silicon Valley, the group set up SF Motors R & D center and the production base, inviting the founder of Tesla, Martin Eberhard to join in, and acquiring AC Propulsion, InEVit, and the original Hummer factory respectively. On March 28, 2018 (Pacific Time), SF MOTORS held its first global press conference in Silicon Valley. Two new smart electric SUV, SF5 and SF7, appeared together with the self-developed smart electric vehicle technology.
On July 25, 2018(Beijing Time), SF MOTORS released the Chinese brand "Golden Vehicle EV" on its exclusive CCTV 1 "机智过人" column. SF5 will open the mass production experience in January 2019, open the Chinese market reservation in March, formally launch in the third quarter of 2019, and achieve mass delivery.
