2Meet2Eat wurde 2015 von Sebastian Funke und Julia Derndinger gegründet mit dem Ziel junge Gründer und Unternehmer bei einem gemeinsamen Dinner zusammen zu bringen.
Der Abend findet in lockerer Runde statt und es wird eine gemeinsame Vorstellungsrunde moderiert, bei dem man sowohl von Höhen und Tiefen berichten darf, was man macht, aber auch was man gerade sucht oder wobei man anderen Gründern / Unternehmern helfen kann.
Am Ende des Abends teilt sich die Gruppe in 2 Teile und setzt das Format 4 Wochen später fort, zum Folgeevent, bringt dann jeder einen neuen "Gast" aus der Gründer- und Startup Szene mit.
Das Format darf gerne mit dem Namen 2Meet2Eat kopiert werden - der Nutzen für die Teilnehmer steht hier im Vordergrund es gibt keine kommerzielle Absicht, jeder zahlt sein Essen und seine Getränke selber.
Mangelnde Verbindlichkeit führt aber dazu, dass man nicht mehr eingeladen wird und Unpünktlichkeit nervt aufgrund der Vorstellungsrunde direkt am Anfang.
