Process Development and Optimization for Sustainability. Munholland Business Services Ltd. is a management consultancy overseeing Circular Supply Chains Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary. In 1998 we began handling reverse logistics in western Canada for some of the largest retailers on the planet. In 2004 we restructured to focus on automation in the supply chain. Developing reverse processes that could share resources conducive to supply processes without interference resulted in the birth of Circular Supply Chains Inc. We work with our partners to develop greater efficiency and throughput of both supply and reverse chains with a focus on automation to improve
sustainability.
The backbone of our research has been a 3-Dimensional matrix that listed all possible processes against internal departments within a given company on a 2-Dimensional plain, then we added market verticals as a third dimension of the matrix. We then studied the intersections of where these attributes meet and, through a process of discovery and elimination, we were able to identify areas of inefficiency that are common to all chains. It was from this point that we began the design and development of a system that would overcome these inefficiencies for supply chains around the world. The Cargo Carousel System is the result of our research.
This site has been established to share progress in "ALL" Supply Chain Automation and Sustainability Initiatives so each of our members has the opportunity to collaborate on the development of these initiatives while staying abreast of their progress.
