Feeding cats food which does not match their evolutionary needs can lead to a wide range of health problems. The founders of 3coty® had an allergic cat and decided to set out to find a long-term solution to the suffering of their beloved cat Cookie. Their backgrounds as a cat breeder, international cat judge and long-term cat-lover, and a biochemist focused on nutritional matters provided them with the necessary knowledge to embark on the research. Their cat provided the motivation!
They developed natural cat food free from most allergens, such as preservatives, colourants and fish oils. The news of their success in managing allergies soon spread in cat breeding circles and others wanted to buy their natural wet cat food. This allowed them to turn their passion into a business and they started 3coty®. You will find Cookie's photo on most of 3coty® labels.
The wet cat food they have developed has helped countless cats live healthier and happier lives throughout Europe and Asia. Cats suffering from allergic reactions are now fed food without allergens, the health of cats with previous diabetes diagnoses has improved so that they no longer need insulin injections, and kidney problems in cats with sensitive urinary tracts have reduced - all because of tailored, well researched and naturally manufactured wet cat food.
