About the American Alumni Association of Sri Lanka:
Established in July 1988 as an autonomous entity, the American Alumni Association (AAA) of Sri Lanka originally served as a forum for reminiscing and sharing experiences among those who had studied in the USA. Over time, the AAA has expanded its mandate to include a range of programs for both outgoing and returning graduates, inspiring Sri Lankan alumni to use their knowledge and expertise to benefit their homeland.
As part of its activities, the AAA has established The American Alumni Foundation Trust (TAAFT) and initiated numerous social welfare programs, educational initiatives, and mentorship sessions for those interested in pursuing studies abroad. Additionally, the association provides a valuable networking platform for like-minded professionals.
The AAA invites all US alumni to become members and join a distinguished community that offers opportunities to connect, collaborate, and contribute to Sri Lanka's progress.
Eligibility Criteria:
Any US graduate who has spent at least one academic year in the US as part of an undergraduate or graduate study program at a recognized US university is eligible.
