ABS SHIPPING NV Antwerp, was established in 1991 by Pieter Noordhuis. During 2002 the company continued with the launch of the UK office, ABS SHIPPING (UK) Ltd from its base in Cardiff by Chris Tucker. In 2003 Myra Noordhuis started working for ABS SHIPPING, she worked for 6 months for ABS in Cardiff and she was a trainee with a charterer and a ship-owner. In 2004 she started working for the Antwerp office.
In 2017 the activities of ABS SHIPPING NV Belgium moved to The Netherlands. The daughter company ABS SHIPPING NEDERLAND BV is now involved in all activities however the mother company will remain ABS SHIPPING NV in Antwerp. As a family based company his daughter Myra Noordhuis is now taking care of the daily activities and Pieter Noordhuis is the Senior Consulant. Together with cooperating partners we make the business work.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
ABS SHIPPING is specialized in chartering worldwide from coastal chartering and deep-sea of about 500 until about 20.000 m/t, ro-ro cargoes, project cargoes, bulk cargoes and generals. In the past years ABS SHIPPING is also offering full supply chain management and we organize logistics and multi modal transport.
One of the characteristics of ABS SHIPPING is that our client is always on number 1. We pro-active think together with our client for the best solutions.
We are independent brokers so we work together with all ship owners. We arrange exclusive seatransport for our clients mainly within Europe but also outside Europe. Therefore we can provide our clients with the best competative rate and the best service. For us it is important that we can help the client out with all their shipping requirements so the client can concentrate on their core business.
Long standing relationships with our customers is another strong point of ABS SHIPPING. We also like to get to know our customers personally, as people not numbers, making ABS SHIPPING your personal link in shipping!
