WE GIVE FREE MEDICAL SERVICES & MEDICAL COVER As 'accelerateUHC', we [RaHaSolutions, ADRA Kenya, Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) & others] accelerateUHC by giving free medical services/covers to families that are excluded from quality health care coverage — on behalf of the families, we buy inpatient medical cover (from insurance companies) and we buy outpatients subscriptions (from Virtual Hospitals) on behalf of the families. We also give reusable sanitary towels (to girls in the families to help the girls finish schooling) and toilets and rainwater harvesting systems (to village/schools that contain the families). 2. OUR GIVING CREATES GOOD ADVERTISING ENVIRONMENT Members of public (MOP), especially medical insurance agents, virtual hospitals, community health workers (CHWs) and nurses nominate the families and villages/schools — engaging CHWs and nurses in this (nomination) is partly for purposes of increasing number of Frontline Health Workforce in rural and peri urban areas. MOP (and their friends and relatives) also ‘vote’ for their respective nominees because we currently give at a rate of ‘another family’ and ‘another village/school’ per calendar week; and the family / village / school that we give to is the one with the highest number of votes at start of the week. Once a family starts getting free medical services / cover, the services / cover continue for as long as ‘voting’ (in favour of the family) continues — Rose has started getting our free medical services, please consider experiencing a voting process by voting for Rose here: https://raha.solutions/projects/ Members of the family don’t have to travel to hospitals / clinics / specialists or vice versa unless traveling is absolutely necessary — we enable a CHW / nurse to work as paid agents of the virtual hospitals (we pay CHWs and nurses whenever they help families access the free medical services). 3.
