Anand Pharmacy College, established in 1998 under the aegis of Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal, is a leading institute in Gujarat dedicated to promoting excellence in pharmacy education. The college aims to prepare future professionals to meet the challenges in pharmaceutical industries, education, research, and development by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and resources. Anand Pharmacy College has been conferred with autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for a period of ten years from the academic year 2024-25.
Since its inception, APC has been conducting courses approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute is re-accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade (CGPA 3.38) from 2022 to 2027 and accredited by NBA for B. Pharm. from July 2014 to June 2022. The institute offers B. Pharm, Pharm. D, M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, and Pharmaceutical Technology, as well as Ph.D. programs.
To ensure Pharm D. students receive optimal exposure and maintain strong connections between the institute and hospitals, APC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shree Krishna Hospital and Pramukh Swami Medical College, managed by Charutar Arogya Mandal, Karamsad.
APC features state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced instrument rooms, an animal house, and a well-equipped library with computer and reprographic facilities, providing unlimited internet access for students and faculty. The GTU has recognized the institute as a Full-Time Ph.D. Research Centre for Pharmaceutical Science.
The institute stays abreast of the latest trends in pharmacy education and aims to foster a dynamic environment that builds confidence and competence in its students. Regular seminars and lectures by distinguished academicians, industry experts, and dignitaries inspire both students and staff toward academic excellence.
