WAT: Individuele training aan huis met materialen uit de thuisomgeving zoals boeken, boodschappentassen en stoelen.
WIE: Personen van 70 jaar of ouder die een verhoogde fysieke kwetsbaarheid hebben (traag wandelen, weinig spierkracht, vermoeidheid, …).
WAAR/WANNEER: Er wordt gedurende 24 weken 3x per week getraind in het huis van de 70-plusser. De tijdstippen kunnen samen met de 70-plusser afgesproken worden.
WAAROM: Om de fitheid van de 70-plusser te verbeteren zodat dagelijkse activiteiten/handelingen vlotter verlopen. Het kan daarnaast ook de eenzaamheid verminderen, de participatie verhogen en de kwaliteit van leven verbeteren.
Voor deze wetenschappelijke studie zijn we momenteel op zoek naar kwetsbare 70-plussers die willen deelnemen én naar vrijwilligers (bv.: mantelzorgers) die het oefenprogramma willen begeleiden in hun buurt.
