Activus Pharmaceuticals is an IND-stage drug delivery and formulation company based in Funabashi, Japan. Activus' proprietary platform, APNT (Activus Pure Nanoparticle Technology), has been applied to the ophthalmology disease area in two late-preclinical assets. Activus was founded in 2006 as a spin-off from the Dainippon Ink and Chemicals (DIC) Corporation. After being acquired by Sosei Corporation in 2010, Activus was acquired by Formosa Pharmaceuticals in August, 2017.
