Since 1973, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFPKC) has dedicated itself to serving nonprofit professionals and their organizations by offering quality programming, value-based membership, and professional relationships.
With nearly 300 members, AFPKC is the only nonprofit, professional association in Greater Kansas City dedicated to advancing the practice of fundraising.
AFPKC is proud to have received the 2019 Chapter Ten Star Award, which recognizes the chapter as a model in accomplishing the goals set forth by AFP Global and chapter leadership. Additionally, AFPKC was recognized as a 2017 Friend of Diversity and is a past recipient of the Founders' Award for Public Service, which honors chapters who promote and maintain high standards of public service and conduct.
