Our History
1969
AGROTECHNICA's foundation year.
1972
Construction of our first manufacturing installations in Halastra | Thessaloniki.
1992
Having received the message for self-sufficiency in formulation and quality control of our products, we proceeded to the construction of an up-dated, automatic and flexible formulation plant for pesticides (2000 m²) in the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki.
1998
The constantly increasing demands in Crop Protection led to the extention of the existing premises with two new warehousing units, covering an area of 2.500 m².
2000 - 2011
AGROTECHNICA proceeds to the development of its installation with futher 8000 m2, as well as construction of a new warehouse unit of 1.500 m². During a constant progressing course that commenced in 1969, AGROTECHNICA responded dynamically to the demands of the Greek agricultural reality, relying on two principles: RELIABILITY and QUALITY.

AGROTECHNICA's premises are situated in the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki, in Sindos, covering an area of 24.000 m². The plant and the warehouses operate in compliance to the health and safety-in-work specifications, ensuring quality and respect towards the farmer of crop protection products and the environment.
Plant facilities present separate production lines, operating for the manufacturing of wettable powders, dust powders, granular products and emulsifiable concentrates. Warehouses, covering an area of 5.500 m² provide the most demanding storage conditions for the ready-to-use crop protection products and fertilizers.
Technical support of our products and client service take place on a daily basis from a team of agronomists covering crop protection market in Greece. The company keeps up to the tendencies and demands of the International and the Greek Crop Protection market by enriching constantly the product list and improving the standards in all production, packaging and promotion phases. Sensitivity to issues of enviromental and social concern guides our production and technical support of our products to ensure their rational usage by the farmer.
