Campo de Golf de 18 hoyos Championship "Par 72" de 6.278 metros de longitud, que cuenta con una amplia Pista de Prácticas, Zonas de Entrenamiento y Escuela de Golf. Situado en la Urbanización de El Toyo, en Almería, España.
El diseño ha sido realizado por prestigioso diseñador Ramón Espinosa, de Espinosa Golf Design, Dr. Ingeniero Agrónomo y Arquitecto de Golf miembro de la EIGCA.
El campo de golf fue construido en el año 2004 por la empresa Garden & Golf.
El diseñador ha conseguido un importante equilibrio entre los diferentes hoyos, tanto en su longitud como en orientación y situación de los distintos elementos que componen el golf (bunkers, torrentes, lagos, etc…) para poder disfrutar del golf, en un campo desafiante, que es capaz de ponernos a prueba en todos y cada uno de los hoyos. Los 66 bunkers se encuentran estratégicamente situados a lo largo de todos y cada uno de los hoyos, no permitiendo despistarse en ningún momento al jugador.
Alborán Golf fue la sede de los XXV Juegos Olímpicos Mediterráneos Almería 2005, en los que el equipo español acaparó gran parte de las medallas.

It’s located in El Toyo Golf Resort, in front of Cabo de Gata Natural Park, beside the beach, 7 minutes away from an International Airport and 15 minutes away from the center of Almería City, Spain.
Alborán Golf has undoubtedly become the new reference for golf in the south of Spain, located in a province that boasts the highest number of daylight hours in all Europe. As the old advertising slogan went, Almería is where the sun goes to spend the winter. Along with its enviable climatic conditions, the Alborán Golf course spreads out over an exceptional piece of land.
Alborán Golf hosted the XXV Mediterranean Olympic Games Almería 2005.
