AltoTech is an early-stage startup based in Bangkok Thailand. Our goal is to help over 32,000 hotels (1.6 million guest rooms) in Thailand (and later SEA) save money on electricity bill with IoT and Reinforcement Learning algorithm. We have developed AIoT platform that pull hotel's data such as AMI meter, Property management services, staff operations data, guest occupancy together. This is to create the so called "Self-Driving Air" that automatically control air conditioners to help hotel's (in which consume 12% of Thailand's electricity bills) to save money on their electricity bills, be more energy efficient, and at the end disrupt the hospitality and energy sectors with AI. For the "Self Driving Air" we think an air conditioner in which consume 60-70% of hotel's electricity consumption should be smarter and can adopt itself to outdoor/indoor weather conditions, occupancy levels, and probably electricity rate while keeping hotel's guest in comfort.
Currently, we have already installed our IoT devices at Chaweng Buri hotel in Samui, Mintel and Naplab co-working spaces in Bangkok with more interests from other hotels in Pattaya, Chiangmai, and Phuket.
