Recently AMROTEC announced that it has received US Patent # 11,321,988 related to currency bill processing devices for counting, denominating, and sorting currency bills and subsequently disinfecting currency bills with UV-C rays.
AMROTEC's currency discriminators, at a speed of 800 bills per minute, deactivate up to about 80% of bacteria found on the surface of bills, providing cleaner bills after being counted and processed. AMROTEC wishes to supply currency discriminators with this patented Germicidal UV-C disinfection system to financial institutions, retailers and to casinos in the United States, so that FIs, retailers and casino operators are able to provide additional protection to their tellers / cash handling employees while at the same time, taking in part of solving a long-felt need in the market-place of bacteria-free monies.
