Un progetto artistico che unisce il mondo della scienza con quello dell’arte, dando forma a delle opere che ruotano attorno a quattro temi principali: mente (emozioni e coscienza), mondo micro e macro, natura e tecnologia.
Esiste nel pensiero comune la propensione a credere che si abbia una mente scientifica o un’anima artistica.
Questo luogo comune viene smentito dalla storia con personaggi come Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo, Cartesio e Goethe ed altri ancora che ci insegnano come queste due discipline non sono affatto distanti.
Il progetto Art&Science mira a valorizzare queste due realtà, in un esperimento artistico, unendo le interessanti foto di ricerca al microscopio da laboratorio, con le immagini surreali che ispirano l’artista.
L’esposizione è promossa da BancaStato e IBSA Foundation, un progetto congiunto della pittrice Claudia Cantoni e della ricercatrice Ester Piovesana
