Die Aschaffenburg Baskets sind das neue, aufstrebende Basketball-Leistungssport-Programm für die Region Bayerischer Untermain.
Sportliches Aushängeschild ist die Herren-Mannschaft, die in der Saison 2021/2022 in der 1. Regionalliga Südost (4. Liga) spielt.
Mit der Basketball-Akademie möchten wir Verantwortung übernehmen und die Voraussetzungen schaffen, dass talentierte und ehrgeizige Spieler aus der Region Bayerischer Untermain, unter optimalen Bedingungen trainieren und leistungsorientiert Basketball spielen können.
Mit unserem Schulprogramm setzen wir uns konzeptionell dafür ein, Kinder in den Grundschulen für Bewegung, gesunde Ernährung und Teamwork zu begeistern und möglichst viele Kinder für unsere Partnervereine zu gewinnen.
Hervorgegangen sind wir aus der Basketball-Abteilung des TV 1897 Goldbach, mit der wir in den letzten Jahren tolle Erfolge feiern konnten:
2020 Aufsteiger in die 1. Regionalliga Südost, Final 4 Bayernpokal
2018 Meister der 2. Regionalliga Südost-Nord, Vize-Bayernpokal-Sieger
2017 Meister der Bayernliga Nord
2015 Meister Bezirksoberliga Herren und Unterfränkischer Pokalsieger
