L'AFTAA peut ainsi intervenir auprès des publics les plus vulnérables : personnes âgées dépendantes, enfants et adultes fragilisés par la maladie ou le handicap, détenus en centre pénitentiaire...

Dans le cadre de la médiation animale, l'AFTAA s'entoure de chiens de travail issus d'un long processus d'éducation et de socialisation, capables d'intervenir auprès d'adultes et d'enfants porteurs de handicap.
