Astra Polytechnic, previously known as Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Astra) is a higher education institution with a Diploma 3 level under the auspices of the Astra Bina Ilmu Foundation (YABI), one of nine foundations owned by PT Astra International Tbk. Astra Polytechnic was founded in Jakarta in 1995 by PT Federal Motor which is currently PT Astra Honda Motor (PT AHM) under the name Federal Technical Academy which is under the auspices of the Federal Bina Ilmu Foundation, in 2001 changed its name to Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic or later. known as Polman Astra. And since April 21, 2021, the Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic has officially changed its name to Astra Polytechnic. Astra Polytechnic has a vision to become a leading vocational higher education institution in producing competent graduates with international standards and the development of applied technology that is relevant to current and future industries.
