Astrodrift is an artist-driven sci-fi universe that blends 80s retro-futurism with the excitement of the new space race driven by the super-rich. Inspired by the Wild West gold rush, it features 1,000 unique digital collectible figures, each with distinct traits, exploring asteroid belts for rare resources. A key feature is Neurodrift, a playful representation of neurodiversity—like autism and ADHD—through role-playing attributes.
Created by Chris Stricker, an artist late diagnosed with autism and ADHD, Astrodrift reflects his journey of breaking stereotypes and promoting inclusivity. This deeply personal project uses digital art, immersive worldbuilding, and technology to raise awareness of neurodiversity.
Embark on an epic journey through the Astrodrift universe, where innovative AI and digital collectible action figures invite you to relive the nostalgia of childhood while unlocking new worlds of adventure and discovery.
Launching with Season One: New Frontier, Astrodrift introduces these collectible characters. Future expansions will include a physical card game, comics or short stories, and eventually a Play-to-Mine game. The Play-to-Mine utility, planned for later seasons, will allow players to use NFTs in a base-building game, where each character’s unique traits influence mining efficiency.
