En 2008 le bureau prend la forme d’une société anonyme. En 2015, l’actionnariat est ouvert aux employés de la société. L’équipe se compose d’architectes EPF, de dessinateurs, de techniciens et économistes, d’ingénieurs en thermique et d’un secrétariat.
L’atelier se fonde sur la volonté de conjuguer l’architecture et l’écologie dans son sens large sous un regard financier attentif.
Cette approche écologique regroupe dès les premiers projets plusieurs notions :
La notion d’habitabilité et d’habitat collectif, en particulier la construction de lieux d’échanges entre habitants au sein des édifices et entre nos constructions et l’environnement immédiat.
La notion de confort en lien avec les matériaux utilisés dans la construction et la perspirante des murs.
L’optimisation de consommation d’énergie, en améliorant l’isolation des bâtiments, en contextualisant l’architecture pour répondre aux différents apports solaires passifs, en recherchant des modes de production d’énergies non fossiles.
Dès 2001, nous intégrons dans notre réflexion la consommation et l’usage de l’eau dans nos projets.
La participation active des futurs habitants (coopératives, habitations individuelles) est soutenue dans notre méthodologie et notre approche architecturale.
