We are the Attitude Foundation, a non-profit initiative launched by Attitude Hotels to support and lead projects that promote sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, and creative and cultural initiatives.
Our Foundation is mainly funded by contributions from Attitude Hotels, with a percentage of the group’s profits dedicated to supporting impactful local initiatives:
1% from our direct sales
3% from Otentik Bazar (hotel boutique) sales
5% from spa product sales
Rs 200 per adult guest upon check-out
Through this model, we ensure that tourism actively gives back to the island and its people.
Our work is guided by three core pillars:

🎶 Cultural development - We promote artistic expression, support local talent, and contribute to a dynamic cultural and creative ecosystem.
🤝 Community Support – We empower local community through social entrepreneurship, providing resources for growth and fostering positive change.
Since our launch, we’ve supported several impactful projects, including:
The Marine Discovery Centre, a hub for marine education, research and conservation.
Konpoz to Lamizik, a national music competition that provides visibility and professional opportunities to emerging Mauritian artists.
An entrepreneurship training programme for women, promoting local economic inclusion and women’s empowerment.
The translation of the Climate Fresk into mauritian creole, making it more accessible to hotel teams and raising environmental awareness.
We collaborate with local and regional NGOs, researchers, artists, and organisations. Together, we aim to make tourism a genuine force for good.
