Η AUThors, αποτελεί μία φοιτητική πρωτοβουλία που ιδρύθηκε στα μέσα του Σεπτέμβρη του 2020 με στόχο να δώσει ένα ηχηρό παρόν στο πεδίο των φύλων και να αποδείξει πως ο φοιτητικός κόσμος όχι μόνο ενδιαφέρεται για ζητήματα φύλου, αλλά φροντίζει και εμπράκτως να προάγει, να προβληματίσει και να προασπίσει μέσα από κοινωνικές δράσεις το Πανεπιστημιακό μα και το ευρύτερο κοινό για σχετικά ζητήματα. Καταλαβαίνει κανείς, βέβαια, πως η δημιουργία της ομάδας ήταν αποτέλεσμα χρόνιας ηχούς από πλευράς της κοινωνίας να ξεκινήσει κάτι σχετικό από νέους ανθρώπους, μα και ένας προσωπικός και διακαής προσωπικός πόθος που σταδιακά πραγματώνεται. Ειδικότερα, η προσωπική μου εμπειρία στο χώρο του εθελοντισμού, η αίσθηση του ότι τίποτα δεν αλλάζει μα όλα τείνουν να επιστρέφουν σε ένα πρωιμότερο στάδιο αρχέγονου σεξισμού και φοβίας, αλλά και η ανάγκη ανθρώπων του χώρου μου να εξερευνήσουν σε ένα ασφαλές περιβάλλον τη σεξουαλικότητά και τον εαυτό τους, μού έδωσαν την αυτοπεποίθηση να δώσω πνοή σε ένα όραμα χρόνων, που θα έδινε όχι τη λύση αλλά την τροφή για σκέψη και αλλαγή.
