This is predominantly an accessible and safe networking space for neurodivergent professionals, celebrating achievements, changing narratives and sharing tips.
Whilst this is called the 'Autistic' Professional Network, it is an inclusive space for all neurodivergent professionals and anyone who would like to learn how to better understand and work with us.
We know what it's like to be excluded, so we definitely don't want it to be exclusively for autistic people, but at the time the IG account was set up, this was the only diagnosis we had and, therefore, what felt appropriate then.
Over time, this may evolve and rebrand but the priority right now is to offer support and guidance, not play with the name!
