Het was eind jaren ’20 begin jaren ’30, dat Jan Oostdijk zijn eigen garagebedrijf startte aan de Dr. Van der Brinkstraat in Monster. Tegenwoordig het centrum van Monster, toen gelegen aan de buitenrand. Het Ford Service Dealerschap werd verkregen in 1933.
In de beginjaren en in de oorlog lag de nadruk op fietsen, motorfietsen en auto’s. Tot 1958, daarna waren alleen de personenauto’s nog in beeld. In 1967 werd het bedrijf voortgezet door Koos Oostdijk, de zoon van Jan. Met de groei van het wagenpark in Nederland, groeide Auto Oostdijk mee. Hierdoor werd het noodzakelijk in 1989 te verhuizen naar de huidige locatie aan de provincialeweg van Den Haag naar Hoek van Holland.
Sinds 1 juni 2001 is Wilfred Vijverberg de nieuwe eigenaar van Auto Oostdijk en onder zijn leiding is het bedrijf verder gegroeid. Vandaag de dag kunt u bij ons terecht voor onderhouds-, reparatie- en schadewerkzaamheden, A.P.K.-keuringen, navigatie- en alarmsystemen en de in- en verkoop van auto’s.
Uiteraard kunt u bij ons, als Ford Service Dealer, terecht met uw Ford, maar ook andere merken zijn bij ons van harte welkom. Wij zijn van alle markten thuis.
