For over a decade, Avalanche! Entertainment operated on the leading-edge of media trends. Its complementary business groups included:

Avalanche was backed, in part, through first look deals at Warner Bros and Catch 23 Entertainment. The company also successfully launched one of the first direct-to-consumer film distribution services that combined television direct response advertising with turnkey DVD fulfillment. And it advised major media companies (such as Warner Bros, Disney, Miramax, MTV and others) on digital distribution strategies, including acting as lead advisor on Universal Studios’ and J.P.Morgan’s $300+ million, multi-film co-financing fund -- one of the first major co-financing deals of the era.
Avalanche's brands group was a prolific producer of TV campaigns, branded entertainment and music videos for clients such as Six Flags, Dupont, Warner Bros., New Line Cinema and many others.
Avalanche's team and many of its entertainment projects were merged into A Happy Place LLC to create a partnership with members of the pop music group *NSYNC at the height of their popularity that combined teen-focused movies with teen-focused music and soundtracks.
