Stichting BalanceBuddy is een jonge en enthousiaste onderneming met een frisse kijk op de gezondheidszorg. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat je kinderen die kampen met (risico op) een te zwaar gewicht hulp op maat moet bieden. Ons leefstijlmaatjestraject levert dit. Binnen dit traject wordt er gefocust op het kind, echter worden ook de ouders betrokken. De maatjes gaan minstens een keer per week 1-3 uur bij het gezin langs. Het maatje gaat bijvoorbeeld sporten met het kind of geeft educatie over voeding aan de ouders. Bij het intakegesprek en de eerste kennismaking wordt overlegd waar het kind en mogelijk het gezin hulp bij nodig heeft.
