Locally in Miami, Florida, Ballet Essentials owner recognized the need in providing reliable and well fitted Pointe shoes since she had been providing fitting advice to dancers and students who were continuously lacking proper pointe shoe fitting in the area and finally decided to fill in this much needed void in the local ballet community, by opening a pointe shoe fitting store. Owner Mrs. Julia Figuerola Carpena-Mannucci is an experienced ballet dancer (dancing since 1982) and knowledgeable Classical Ballet teacher who has had the privilege of learning from the world's most acclaimed Ballet Institution, the Official Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow with a Teacher Certification in "Methods of Teaching Classical Dance". Her in-depth knowledge and training of authentic Vaganova Methodology is of great value to those seeking proper fitting and advice from their very first pointe shoe to professional level dancers. Mrs. Carpena Mannucci was able to finally offer reliable pointe shoe fitting with reliable brands of Pointe Shoes and accessories. With over 30 years in the Pointe Shoe Industry, FR Duval Pointe Shoes are now available locally in Miami, Florida.
