In 2005 besloten Jan Mulder en Berend Berger (de huidige directie) een bouwbedrijf op te richten: Houtbouw de Bevers. In de eerste jaren werd er voornamelijk gefocust op kleinschalige projecten zoals tuinhuisjes, schuttingen en aanbouwtjes. Houtbouw de Bevers werd in de omgeving steeds bekender en de projecten werden groter. In 2010 kregen Jan en Berend de mogelijkheid om het bedrijf Bangma uit Oosterzee over te nemen. Vanaf toen werden alle activiteiten voortgezet onder de naam Aannemingsbedrijf Bangma B.V. Een aantal jaar later werd er verhuisd naar Sint Nicolaasga, hier is tot op heden het hoofdkantoor en de werkplaats gevestigd.
Aannemingsbedrijf Bangma B.V. is ondertussen uitgegroeid tot een middelgroot bedrijf waar tussen de 50 en 60 mensen werkzaam zijn. Wij zijn met name werkzaam in de agrarische sector, woningbouw, utiliteitsbouw en renovatie.
