How to recognize different wines from grape varieties? What are winemakers doing to make each wine taste the way they do? WINE CONSULTING
Are you looking for in-person or online expert assistance in your winery? Oenologist Matija Leskovic and his wine expert partners can give your winery needed support with his wide international winemaking and wine research expertise. The support types we can give you are: improving the winemaking process, solving technical problems in wineries, and creating wines of specific aromatic and flavor profiles. Matija's field of expertise is the creation of aromatic compounds in wine. His current PhD research at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) is focused on varietal thiols and "reductive" sulphur volatile compounds in wine. He holds a Master's Degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Zagreb (Croatia). Some of the countries he has worked in (doing winemaking or wine research) are Croatia, California (Napa Valley), Chile (Maule Valley) and Austria (Kamptal and Styria).
