The Basotho Startup Network is an organization that is founded by like-minded entrepreneurs on the basis of eradicating poverty and supporting business startups in Lesotho. The organization intends to develop projects that will help entrepreneurs and the community to create employment. The members place innovation and opportunism at their heart in order to produce economic or social value. To achieve the organizational vision, a Business Development as the main program has been developed with the intention of guiding the organization to achieve its objectives. Vision To seek a thriving and sustainable Lesotho economy driven by innovative local entrepreneurs. Mission To facilitate the development of dynamic entrepreneurs in Lesotho, by strengthening their entrepreneurial capacities through the provision of services which include training, market information dissemination, economic networking, technology transfer, and advocacy. Values Innovation –the organization strives to embody the qualities of an entrepreneurial organization, focused on innovation. Pursuit of Excellence – the organization pursues excellence by working local entrepreneurs in order to provide high-quality, credible, independent activities that facilitate the pursuit of its vision and mission.
