Brain Based Intelligence Test (BBIT) has been developed in India by a team of Indian psychologists. The BBIT measures two important clusters of cognitive processes: planning and executive functions, and integration of information. A singular aspect of the BBIT is it enables teachers and curriculum developers to deliver programmes to enhance the cognitive processes that form the foundation of academic learning, such as reading and math. At the same time its tests assist clinicians for diagnosis of impairment of cortical functions as in Stroke, Epilepsy, and Traumatic brain injury.
BBIT is a brain based approach which gives us more than IQ. BBIT reframes Intelligence as an integration of biology and cognitive processes. We know that intelligence is sensitive to learning, and the brain changes itself. Traditional IQ tests may believe that IQ is fixed.

In addition, its tests assist clinicians for diagnosis of impairment of cortical functions as in Stroke, Epilepsy, and Traumatic brain injury. Age range for this test is 5 years to 20 years, which makes it viable.
