BCN Checkpoint és un centre comunitari de detecció del VIH i altres infeccions de transmissió sexual adreçat a homes gais, bisexuals, homes que tenen sexe amb homes i persones transsexuals. L’ONG Projecte dels NOMS-Hispanosida el va crear el 2006 per donar resposta a l’impacte del VIH en el nostre col·lectiu i promoure la salut sexual.
BCN PrEP·Point és el primer centre comunitari europeu especialitzat en la pastilla preventiva del VIH. Inaugurat el 2017, reforça l’aposta de Projecte dels NOMS-Hispanosida per la profilaxi preexposició (PrEP, en les seves sigles en anglès), per reduir significativament la incidència del VIH en el nostre col·lectiu. Des de la seva obertura, BCN PrEP·Point ha esdevingut un centre de referència sobre la PrEP. Ha estat pioner a l’Estat en acollir estudis d’investigació i implementació sobre la pastilla preventiva del VIH i en oferir assessorament i suport integral a les persones que ja la prenien pel seu compte.
