DocP and the global boycott movement
In 2005, 171 Palestinian civil society organizations called for peaceful resistance against Israel. A call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel until it fulfills its obligations to the Palestinians in accordance with international law. Since 2005, a growing international movement has emerged against Israeli Apartheid. The Services and Research Center Palestine (docP) foundation is committed to the three points in the call for BDS from Palestinian civil society organizations of July 9, 2005:
1. Ending the occupation (and colonization) of the Arab territory occupied in June 1967 (UN Resolution 242) and demolishing the wall;
2. Recognizing the fundamental rights and full equality of the Arab-Palestinian inhabitants of Israel (UN Treaty against Apartheid);
3. Respect, protect and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties (UN Resolution 194).
The call for boycott, divestment and sanctions is a peaceful path and analogous to the means that the anti-apartheid movement used in South Africa at the time. Given the situation described below, it is still the only way to achieve these objectives through external pressure.

It is very important to us that our government and that of its allies watch and tolerate ('on our behalf') how new houses are built every day in the West Bank, in the Negev and Galilee on Palestinian land without their consent or even compensation for how Israel disregards international law, refuses to implement UN resolutions...More here https://bdsnederland.nl/over-bds/
