Our company was formed to develop, manufacture and distribute The Beech Band, a new wellness device. Co founder Carl Beech has young onset Parkinson’s. He experimented with the power of touch to alleviate anxiety, vibrations from a stick hitting the ground to cue his walk and finally a tactile rhythmic method to overcome his stammer caused by Parkinson’s. Together with cofounder Nick Whitely they built a prototype device and to their shock it worked. Since then reports are coming in regularly of its positive calming, comforting and alleviating impact across a range of syndromes. A great team of researchers and clinicians has gathered around them. The journey has just begun!
