We regularly run Trauma Training, including a 60-hour Foundation Diploma - Therapeutic Safety in Trauma (NCPS Quality Checked). We run this integrative trauma training in Southend (per 15/09/2024 for 1 Sunday a month), 100% Live and Online (per Sunday 26/01/2025) and per Monday 14th April 2025 in London!
This is a 60-hour integrative and experiential training, which works to build a solid foundation for any counsellors / psychotherapist / psychologist (student + qualified), social workers, GP's, nurses, psychiatrists, support workers, as well as other mental health professionals, who work (or want to work) with traumatised clients. This training consists of 10 training days and you have 2 years to complete all 10 days. We will cover the following:
1. 3-Phase Trauma Model
2. Relational Safety
3. Creative Ways of Working
4. Burn-out, Compassion Fatigue, Secondary Traumatic Stress & Vicarious Trauma
5. Complex Trauma
6. Trauma and Suicide
7. Somatic Ways of Working
8. Refugees, Migrants, Trafficking & Exploitation
9. Therapeutic Processing & Integration
10. Post-Traumatic Growth
Each training day can be taken individually as CPD, or all 10 together for the Foundation Diploma. There are discounted rates available for counselling students Level 2-4.
We also run a 1-day CPD on Moral Injury in the Therapy Room.
