Als archaischer Sonnenkalender sind sie Taktgeber aus der Epoche vor der mechanischen Zeitmessung: Vom Elsässer Belchen aus gesehen markiert die über den anderen Belchen aufgehende Sonne die Anfänge von Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter.
Als Namenspatrons stehen die Berge für die doppelte Neugier der Belchengruppe: Neugier fürs Archaische und Tradition – und Neugier für Hightech und neue Wege der Gestaltung.
Die Belchengruppe wurde von Christoph Schnee in Basel mit dem Ziel gegründet, das Wissen und die Innovationsfreude von Experten aus Gestaltung, Konstruktion und Uhrmacherei zusammenzubringen. Gemeinsam lassen wir Produkte entstehen, die Emotionen wecken und die Zeit in neuem Licht zeigen.
