The Bell Tower Memorial is a non-profit organization helping to preserve our country's history and promote learning through various programs, events and the construction of a Memorial. Our Memorial will be located in Kiwanis Village Park, Pewaukee, WI - this memorial will become an awe-inspiring, one-of-a-kind landmark - to uphold our mission: to Honor, Educate and Remember. Our memorial will include: • 6-flag flag court - representing the branches of the military. • Engraved Brick Memorial Flagcourt - saluting our veterans Dedication bricks are available for order from our web site! • Permanent seating for visitors to sit, relax, reflect and remember. It’s a place to bring education for all, especially, our youth, remembrance of our predecessors and history to life for generations to come. EDUCATION - Veterans in the Classroom We believe in teaching students and communities about what it means to serve our country. Local Veterans are invited into classrooms to speak to students about their service experience. HONOR - Veterans Oral History Project Each year the Bell Tower Memorial coordinates a Veterans Oral History Project -- which connects veterans and high school students. Each student interviews their assigned veteran. Each interview is recorded and submitted to the Library of Congress in Washington DC as part of the National Oral History Project. Stories from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Dessert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan Veterans have educated and brought joy to many.... especially the veterans!
