Die Berliner Aids-Hilfe e.V. wurde 1985 als gemeinnütziger Verein gegründet. Das Ziel der Vereinsarbeit ist es, Berliner*innen eine informierte Haltung im Umgang mit HIV, sexuell übertragbaren Infektionen und dem Leben mit HIV zu ermöglichen. Sie berät Menschen mit HIV und/oder Aids. Der Stigmatisierung und Diskriminierung HIV-positiver Menschen tritt die Berliner Aids-Hilfe parteiisch und solidarisch entgegen. In der Berliner Aids-Hilfe sind 34 hauptamtliche, 10 geringfügig beschäftigte und mehr als 160 ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiter*innen tätig. Rund 150 Vereinsmitglieder unterstützen die Berliner Aids-Hilfe finanziell und ideell.
