"Best Year Ever!" empowers teachers and educators so they can do the same for their students by helping them to believe in themselves, feel a strong sense of belonging, and master success strategies to succeed in school and life. Bill (creator and sole proprietor of Best Year Ever!, LLC) is a recently retired 31-year classroom teacher that was chosen Michigan Teacher of the Year for 2003-2004. Starting in 2000, in addition to teaching full-time, Bill has been uplifting and empowering students, teachers, pre-service teachers, and other educators through proven management, team building, and effective leadership strategies--which he eventually shared in the book he wrote called Best Year Ever!: Winning Strategies To Thrive In Today's Classroom. Since retiring from the classroom at the end of the 2016-2017 school year, Bill's new mission is to coach/mentor teachers to help them minimize and eliminate some of the many challenges they face in today's classrooms that will provide them with more time to teach and their students more time to learn. To help reach this goal (starting in the fall of 2023), Bill has created a podcast series called "Best Year Ever! or Bust!" in hopes of being able to reach more teachers around the country/world.
