We are Beyond Me Entertainment, a music collective and record label. Our journey began, inspired by the events of the 2010 Haitian earthquake. Our founder, Haitian-American artist Watson Tunez, along with students from Anderson University, created a relief album, "Beyond Me: Haiti," which raised over $25,000 and supported rebuilding efforts in Haiti. This experience was the catalyst for our Live Beyond You Service Challenge. In 2015, we established our non-profit arm, Beyond Me Initiative, to provide grants for local service projects. We are proud to be pioneers in humanitarian hip-hop, blending it with R&B and pop to bring together artists and fans for both global and local impact. Our mission is to inspire empathy, community engagement, and direct action towards social causes through the power of music, media, and creative expression. We operate based on our "Three A's" framework: Advocating for change through impactful, socially conscious music and media; Addressing issues through partnerships and grants funded partly by corporate-matched album sales; and Alleviating suffering by developing sustainable solutions for long-term healing and restoration. We tackle pervasive human suffering by harnessing music to create positive change, with the goal of healing and restoring communities affected by hardship. We empower individuals to use their creative abilities to address critical local issues like homelessness, food insecurity, poverty, and mental health. By connecting audio, visual, and performing arts with humanitarianism, we actively promote positive change. Watson Tunez's 2021 solo album, "Long Way to Go," further demonstrated our commitment to driving community change through music.
