Bij Beyond-Plastic werken wij dagelijks aan een missie die verder gaat dan duurzaamheid: wij ontwikkelen en vermarkten innovatieve materialen die plastic vervangen zonder concessies te doen aan functionaliteit of uitstraling. Onze producten bevatten gรฉรฉn plastic of microplastics, en zijn gรฉรฉn afgeleiden van conventionele bioplastics zoals PLA of suikerriet.
Wat maakt ons uniek? Onze grondstoffen zijn gรฉรฉn voedsel, maar reststromen. Het zetmeel dat wij gebruiken is een afvalproduct van het wassen van maรฏs in de voedselindustrie. Daarnaast worden gassen die vrijkomen in industriรซle BIO-composteerinstallaties opgevangen en hergebruikt in ons productieproces. Zo creรซren we een รฉcht duurzame oplossing โ zonder beslag te leggen op de wereldwijde voedselvoorziening van mens en dier, in tegenstelling tot materialen op basis van rietsuiker of andere landbouwgewassen.
En het mooiste? Ons materiaal is niet alleen composteerbaar onder gecontroleerde omstandigheden, maar ook gewoon in de natuur. Beyond-Plastic vergaat binnen 180 dagen in de buitenlucht โ zelfs in de bosjes โ en laat gรฉรฉn schadelijke resten achter. Sterker nog: het voedt de bodem.
Samen met partners als Brllnt Green Group bouwen we aan een ecosysteem waarin innovatie, transparantie en impact centraal staan. Van wrapfolie tot topseal, van hondenpoepzakjes tot AGF-zakjes voor in de supermarkt โ wij leveren oplossingen die รฉcht het verschil maken.
Wat mij drijft? De overtuiging dat elk merk, elke retailer en elke gemeente de kans moet krijgen om afscheid te nemen van conventioneel plastic. Daarom werk ik niet alleen aan productontwikkeling, maar ook aan strategische partnerships, klantoverdracht, LCA-trajecten en internationale opschaling.
