BHC Overbos is een hockeyclub waar plek is voor zowel prestatiehockey als recreatiehockey op alle niveaus. De eerste dames- en herenteams spelen in het seizoen 2020-2021 in de eerste klasse.
BHC Overbos heeft tientallen jeugdteams maar ook veteranenteams en trimhockey. Sinds 2012 biedt BHC Overbos ook G-hockey, voor kinderen van 8 tot 18 jaar met een niet-rolstoelgebonden beperking. In totaal bespelen zo'n duizend leden de vier kunstgrasvelden rond clubhuis De Leeuwenkamp.
Hockey is een spel dat je samen speelt. Respect voor elkaar, de tegenstander en de scheidsrechter staan dan ook hoog in het vaandel.
Om de club in stand te houden en de wedstrijden en trainingen mogelijk te maken zijn vrijwilligers onmisbaar. Het bestuur verwacht dan ook van ouders van jeugdleden en van de leden zelf dat ze zich inzetten voor de hockeyclub.
